Berean School of Ministry (BSM) is the training arm of Deliverance Church Ong’ata Rongai (DCOR). BSM was started in 2011 and is the brainchild of Bishop Dr Peter Njogah.

When Bishop Peter Njogah left the corporate world and went into full-time ministry, he realized that there was a lack of trained workers in the Church to do the work of ministry and thus Berean School of Ministry was born.

Since its inception, BSM has held training every year, with the exception of 2020 because of the COVID pandemic. However, by the Grace of God, we resumed training in 2021.

What we teach in the program

BSM begins training every year in February, and the training lasts six months then the class graduates.

In this program, we teach about:

  • We teach the history of Deliverance Church International so that new members can understand the culture of Deliverance Church
  • The Church of Jesus Christ, so that people may have the right perspective about the Church.
  • Salvation and the new life in Christ.
  • How to live a victorious life founded on the Word of God.
  • The importance of prayer and how to pray.
  • The Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • The Holy Communion.
  • Evangelism because we believe every Christian has been called to reach out to the lost in the world and lead them to Christ.
  • Christian service.
  • Biblical leadership and management.

  • So far, we have graduated over 400 people who are involved in active ministry in Kenya, other African countries, the United States, and across Europe.
