I was born in the Rift Valley, in Londiani, Baringo District, on the 6th of November, 1946. I got married to Beth Njogah on 10th August 1974 and the Lord has blessed us with three children—two girls and one boy. The Lord has also graced us with three grandsons and three granddaughters.
My parents were first-generation Christians who received the gospel from the early missionaries. They taught me to read the Word of God, pray, and attend Church.
I was born again and received water baptism while in primary school. Later on, while in Nairobi, I got baptized in the Holy Spirit, and I have continued to grow as a Christian up to this day.
I attended Sulgwita Primary School in Turi where I graduated in 1964 and proceeded to Nakuru High School in 1965. I graduated from Nakuru High School in 1968.
In 1969, I moved to Nairobi and got a job at East African Airways who sponsored me to study Aeronautical Engineering at the Kenya Polytechnic. I went on to further my studies at the Southwell College of Technology in London, UK.
I graduated in 1973 with a Higher National Diploma and a Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering Practical Operations.
I worked as a Grounds Maintenance Engineer with the East African Airways up until 1977 when the airline collapsed, and the following day, I joined Kenya Airways.
For a short while, I worked as a Grounds Maintenance Engineer at Kenya Airways then I was promoted to Flight Engineer, where I served until my early retirement at forty-five years of age in 1994.
I attended the East African School of Theology in Buruburu, Nairobi where I graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible & Theology.
I then proceeded to International Leadership University in Hurlingham where I graduated in 2012 with a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership Studies.
Thereafter, I studied at Ashbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky, USA and graduated with a Doctorate in Ministry in 2022.
While in High School I served as Secretary of the Christian Union and the School Librarian. After leaving school I served as a leader in the Youth Ministry, in the Youth Choir and in the Sunday School Ministry in other Churches before I joined Deliverance Church.
In Deliverance Church I served as an Evangelist where I visited schools and colleges, and also led overseas missions to Europe and the Middle East. It is exciting to know that God has used me and my colleagues in such amazing ways.
I assisted Bishop Tuimising as an Associate Minister while I was in Deliverance Church Eastleigh until we moved to Ong’ata Rongai in 1992 where, by the Grace of God, we had built our family home.
In 1993 I got an opportunity to serve as the Senior Pastor of Deliverance Church Ong’ata Rongai. I have been ordained as a Reverend within Deliverance Church and later on consecrated as Bishop.
I continue to serve as the Senior Pastor of Deliverance Church Ong’ata Rongai and also assist Bishop Dr. Mark Kariuki with various assignments within Deliverance Church International.
I am so pleased to be a servant of God, and to be able to touch so many people in their spiritual and social lives.
