Project Operation Expand

Deliverance Church Ong’ata Rongai (DCOR) Operation Expand is a visionary project that was initiated by Bishop Dr Peter Njogah 13 years ago.

Project Vision

The vision was motivated by the fast growth in the population of Ong’ata Rongai and the hunger and thirst for the Word of God in the community. The church membership was growing rapidly and it was time to expand.

What the project involves:

A multipurpose high-rise building that will house the Child Development Centre (CDC), Sunday School, Training Facilities, Church Administration, Cafe, and Accommodation facilities.

A New Sanctuary with 1,600 sitting capacity

A modern kitchen

Guest House

Upgrading of the Church’s equipment including the public address system, computers, screens, etc.

Furnishing of the new Church offices

A Talent Centre for children and youth on 4.5 acres of land at Sholenke, near Nazarene University

This project has been funded by Church members, friends of DCOR and fund raising activities organised by the Church leadership.

On completion, the project will transform Ong’ata Rongai and equip the Church to be more effective in fulfilling the Great Commission.
