Ushering Department

Ushers are a true reflection of how friendly and loving the Church really is and they are the ambassadors of the Church.
Therefore, the main goal of the Ushering Department is to create an atmosphere of warmth and personal welcome and a good environment for people to take their next step toward Christ.
Ushers set the spiritual climate of the service by presenting a joyful attitude, making others feel welcome and comfortable, and making sure everything is flowing in a proper order so that everyone is free to worship without interruption.

How to be a part
If you desire to serve as an Usher at DCOR the first step is to communicate your desire to the leadership then you will be required to attend the DCOR Berean Training which prepares you for general service in the Church.
Thereafter, you will receive training in Ushering after which you will be ready to serve during the services. This training is very important in making sure that people have a positive experience whenever they come to worship God.
We the Ushering Department wish to extend a warm welcome to you all, both new and old, to come worship God with us every Sunday.
